Footsteps Eco-Lodge is just 1 kilometer back from golden sandy beaches. The Eco-Lodge is next to the protected Kunyoong Forest park in the South of Gambia. The Lodge also offers authentic, intelligently designed cool accommodation in relaxed and friendly surroundings.
The Lodge was built in 2002 by two Englishmen, David White and Len Wright. The Eco-Lodge was designed to offer a first class holiday experience for its guests. While at the same time the Lodge has little to no negative consequence for the environment or it's people and their culture.

Another activity is joining Sarani and Lamin, guides, on half and full day trips to areas of local interest. These trips include the capital city of Banjul or the local village of Gunjur with its thriving market and busy fishing center.
