I am delighted to have the opportunity to comment on our stay
at the Bajo Komodo Ecolodge.
We found the standard of accommodation to be extremely high;
both the comfort of the rooms and the standard of the food were excellent,
and the staff friendly and helpful. The design of the lodge means
that the beautiful views out to sea and over the islands, especially
at sunset,
are shown to best advantage.
Maybe the highlight of our stay was our personalised accompanied
trip to Komodo island to see the dragons. These are spectacular and
worth the trip alone but there are many other interesting things
on the island and on the way there. We also had a very enjoyable
day snorkelling off a small boat - the variety of marine life and
coral reefs is at least as colourful as the Barrier Reef in Australia.
The stay was made even more enjoyable by the knowledge that the
lodge is eco-friendly and contributes to the local economy in this
remote location.We would thoroughly recommend it.
