Chiminos Island Lodge has been our favorite place on our trip. We enjoyed our trip to Aguateca very much, and our sunset cruise on the lake left us with fond memories and some amazing pictures. The food is amazing! We happily anticipated each meal, and were full and satisfied every time. Fron the soup to the bread to the dessert, you do a great job. Despite our lack of Spanish skills, the staff was kind, attentive and patient. Chiminos is a wonderful place. We hope to make it back here someday.

09/4/03. We had a really great jungle experience here in Chiminos Island Lodge. We made a very nice trip to Aguateca and watched a lot of animals just on the way between our accommodation and the restaurant. The people in the lodge are very friendly and cook very good meals.
