Le Reve is a rammed earth house with terracotta and recycled
wood floor. The aim building this house is to promote construction
of eco friendly houses and establish possibilities of eco friendly
construction and life style as far as possible. The house is
2000 sq.ft in area in a five acre compound. It has solar water
heating system and the farm practices organic farming. The rooms
are well appointed with ensuite bathroom. The house also has
an open inner courtyard.

The location of the property is just 500 metres from National
Highway No.47 in a village setting. It is 6 kms away from the
City of Thrissur which is connected to all places via railway. It
is 50 kms away from Kochi International Airport. It is 100 kms
from Calicut International Airport and 130 kms from Coimbatore
Airpaort.

Since the walls are rammed earth, no air conditioner is necessary.

The farm is using only cow dung , vermi compost and green leaves
and kitchen waste as manure. On availability coconut water is
also used.

Vegetables and fruits are usually procured from the farm or
locally.

Water is procured from open well. Channels digged to hold water
during rainy season.
