Beautiful mountain retreat in remote setting at the base of Mt. Batukaru, nearly 2 hrs from the hustle and bustle of Kuta. Absolute paradise, comfortable lodging, excellent food, friendly staff, great walks and swimming areas at the river. This is heaven on earth. Part of old Bali where the people are friendly and the jungle is all around you. A "do not miss" experience!

I guess the secret is out, i absolutly adore this ecolodge and have returned a few times only to find that it has entirely preserved its natural and hidden away feel that just makes it such a special place to be, often i have been overwhelmed by the absolute beauty and peace that i find in these natural surroundings, from watching rain fall over the forrest to catching fire flyes at night.. the local people are both kind and welcoming. I will never forget when a young woman gave me a bag of fruit despite that we could not even communicate. I later found out that it was worth a days wage, such graciousness and kindness to be found. If you are wanting to experience the amazing natural settings and kind spirit that is Bali, from one traveller to another I would highly recommend this gorgeous ecolodge.
